Hurray for Me!

I am sooo excited! Today I booked a week long trip to Costa Rica through one of the organizations I wrote about yesterday. I absolutely cannot wait. It's at the end of May. I'll be spending one night in an unknown airport but will be on time to be picked up in San Jose, Costa Rica. I don't speak a lick of spanish but that makes the whole adventure even more exciting. OMG, I'm beside myself!!!

Inspiration

In my search for a new town to call home, I've discovered an inspiring way to travel. And I've decided that while I'm trying to figure things out, I should book a vacation.

My discovery consist of a whole bunch of organizations that offer international volunteer vacations. I am thrilled about the prospect. I've narrowed down my choice between either working on an eco-tourism project in a Jamaïcan village or on a sustainable community-based village in the Costa Rican Rainforest. Both are from Globe Aware and both are for a week and the fees are tax deductible! (except the airfare of course). I've decided I will make my choice this week! Hurray!
